We’re always looking for good writers to join our team, and our Writer’s Corner members always get first priority. As a member, you’re invited to apply to join our freelance writing team. If you’re approved, you’ll have first access to write on our paid client projects. We reward quality writing. In fact, our best freelance writers receive their own clients and consistent writing projects.

Here’s how to apply:


  • Professional writing portfolio or 2-3 previously written samples, preferably for a business-related purpose.
  • Basic communication abilities. Confidence on the phone, curious, able to generate relevant questions.
  • An interest in learning about what’s important to business people.
  • The ability to understand and explain complex concepts.
  • The ability to learn and understand new subjects.

Once your profile is complete, you’ll have immediate access to our free and premium resources to help you get started making money as a writer.

Step 3: Upload your Resume and two to three writing samples

Attach your resume and two to three writing samples.  Don’t worry if you don’t have any experience. Feel free to create your own fictitious writing assignment. It could be a sales letter, blog post, web page content, email or anything else that shows off your writing ability. Once you upload the samples, we can schedule your interview.

Step 4: Schedule your interview

Schedule a 20-minute interview on the calendar below.  Complete all the required information. Interview times are Pacific Standard Time.

Step 5: Interview Approval

Once we’ve received your information, please allow one business day for review.  Look for an email confirming your scheduled date for an interview.  If anything is missing – you will not receive a confirmation for an interview.

Step 6: Invitation to Join our Team

If you’re selected to join our team of freelancers, we’ll provide the following paperwork to complete the process:

  • Independent Contractor Agreement & Terms of Service (TOS).
  • Form W-9
  • Instructions on how to get paid.
